Two decades of excellence in analytical instruments

DBS has been specialising in the design, development and manufacturing of products and accessories for analytical instruments since 1985.

Founded by former research assistants at the University of Padova, over its history the company has grown from producing individual accessories to specifications of researchers and manufacturers of analytical instruments, to become market leaders in the design and development of temperature control accessories for chemical analysis.

DBS has also expanded its expertise beyond the field of temperature control, applying the latest electronic technology to develop of variety of specific applications for the analytical sector.

This evolution has culminated in the company developing innovative new gas generators, using microprocessor control and patented designs to create products that are establishing themselves as benchmarks in their category.


Our modern facilities cover a total area of 1,500 square metres, and our specialist staff work together with a well-coordinated team of consultant engineers, software designers and specialist sub-contractors in the design and manufacture of our product line, all in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 quality system.

DBS works together with customer in all phases of the development of custom accessories for analytical instruments, from the definition of the required specifications to the testing of the final prototypes. DBS currently builds custom products under OEM and special supply agreements for many of the leading companies in the industry, such as PerkinElmer, Varian, Thermofisher and Agilent, names that guarantee the quality of our products.

  Standard products
     DBS manufactures a series of stand-alone products and accessories that are ready for use, without requiring any modification to existing systems or instruments.
